1.1 School Profile

Thailand is a country with a number of universities that run demonstration schools, also called laboratory schools (Thai: โรงเรียนสาธิต, sathit or satit schools). These schools serve as part of teacher training programs, providing opportunities for student teachers to practice teaching. In addition, these schools are utilized by universities for research and development activities in education.

Office of the President 

Thepsatri Rajabhat University (TRU) is a public university located in Lopburi, Thailand. Thepsatri Rajabhat University was founded in 1920. It was originally known as Lawsari School. In 1992, Lawsari School changed to Thepsatri Rajabhat Institute. Over time in 2004 Thepsatri  Rajabhat Institute changed to Thepsatri Rajabhat University until now. Thepsatri Rajabhat University has a demonstration school called The Demonstration School of Thepsatri Rajabhat University. The school is part of Thepsatri Rajabhat University in Thailand and serves as a laboratory school for teacher training and educational research. The school is located right within the grounds of Thepsatri Rajabhat University.

1.2 Academic support system

The Demonstration School of Thepsatri Rajabhat University is an educational institution that provides education at the M.1 - M.6 level under the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. This Demonstration School belongs to the Secondary school category, which is an educational institution after primary school, as well as before higher optional education. In this secondary school there are two levels of study, Lower Secondary for Mathayom 1-3 and Upper Secondary for Mathayom 4-6.

There are various facilities provided that support the academic system such as a place for learning and teaching which includes classrooms, laboratories, teachers' rooms that are classified in the field they teach, a large outdoor learning area, field, music room and others. However, it does not only support the academic system but also the non-academic system. 

Classroom atmosphere is also comfortable with flexible student chairs and tables that are easy to move and help create a learning environment that supports both individual and collaborative learning. The lighting and classroom temperature are also in the good category.

1.3 Teaching system

School starts at 08.15 am -16.00 pm every day. However, on Mondays the teaching and learning activities finish at 14.20 pm because there is a routine meeting of the teachers. Student activities begin with the home room, which is an activity to gather on the school field in a row formation according to their class. In this activity, a series of activities are carried out including the flag-raising ceremony, prayer together and a mandate from the teacher. After that, teaching and learning activities begin.
