 1.1 Teaching Methods of The Teacher I Observed

Teaching observation is one of the obligations that must be carried out by student teacher exchange. During the learning observation process student teacher exchange conducts self-introduction at the beginning of the lesson. The observation activities include observing learning activities there are observing the learning media used and the facilities provided.

The process of transferring knowledge at The Demonstration School of Thepsatri Rajabhat University, especially Biology subjects, uses the lecture method or direct explanation. Students follow the learning well and are able to stay focused while listening to the explanation from the teacher. Every one hour of learning, the teacher gives a relaxed time for 15 minutes so the students are not bored. One of the things that makes students able to focus is also because at the beginning of learning the teacher always orders students to collect their phones.

1.2 Their Learning Materials and Innovation 

The learning material are packaged in a power point and then explained according to the learning objectives. The delivery of learning materials does not require too much content displayed in many slides. But only important points are contained in several ppt slides. This is an example of a topic that students learned about.

1.3 Sources of Learning and Technology used by The Teacher

Teachers explain the topics covered using the presentation method with the help of media. Teachers integrate knowledge of the material presented with teaching strategies. The teaching strategy used is the use of smart tv technology. Media, the media used in learning, is a large smart tv that can support the knowledge transfer process. Each classroom has two smart tvs. one medium size and one large size arranged next to each other. In addition, there is a white board that makes it easier for teachers to convey concepts, write formulas, draw diagrams, or take notes during the teaching and learning process.

1.4 Authentic Assessment used by The Teacher 

During the observation, the learning activities were entirely about explaining the learning topic. There was no activity to check students' understanding such as giving a student worksheet so I don't know much about the authentic assessment used by the teacher. However, in the activity I saw that the teacher monitored students' performance during the learning process.
